Nice area, has a play park for kids, nice walk around the flowers garden when the weather is nice, but on this occasion it was iced up which was nice to look at aswell. Fed some ducks with the kids.

Have seen herons, swans, grebes and all sorts at this pond. Recall many years ago (1980s) there being little row boats in the pond, wish there still were. Fossil Grove nearby, well worth a visit, fossilised carboniferous treescape.

Went with the wee one who's 2. I used to love this play park here, but things are looking a bit dated it could do with some TLC. Some rust on things, disappointing, but a lovey park to wander around.

Lovely piece of old Victorian park gardens. Miss the rowing boats, though. It is very popular with dog walkers. Do forget to visit the Fossil Grove while you are there.
